I had Carl speak to my Tax Professionals group in the ProVisors network in Los Angeles in July 2023 on the FTC Safeguards Rule and Data Privacy for CPAs. It was one of the most engaging presentations our group has ever sponsored. The audience participation was much greater than expected and I allowed the presentation to go long to accommodate the interest of all the attendees. Many of them requested the slide deck afterward which Carl was happy to oblige. His understanding of the subject matter was eclipsed by his ability to explain complex material in layman’s terms for all to understand. Carl exceeded expectations and I will certainly put him on our docket for another meeting later this year.
